One of the best things about living in Orlando is that you can be sitting in your living room on a beautiful yet boring afternoon, make a spur of the moment decision to go to Disney, and an hour later be smack dab in the middle of the Magic Kingdom (as we did yesterday).
I went with low expectations...it was an event evening which meant that 1). the park would close at 7:00, and 2). it would be packed with people who had tickets for the event. If you hold a ticket for an event they allow you in the parks starting at 4:00.
All we really did was eat at our favorite restaurant...
went on Small World
and used fastpasses for Haunted Mansion.
That's it. On the way out we looked at the Christmas decorations in Town Square which were - just okay...nothing spectacular or jaw dropping.
