Monday afternoon:
Monday morning, as I woke up Zack, he immediately bolted up and said, "ow, my throat."
I played it cool and continued getting ready, then asked him to get dressed to gauge his reaction.
Only ---he didn't say anything. Nor did he say another word on the way to school.
However, 9:30 he showed up in my room talking about the pain in his throat.
Needless to say, he had strep.
A good dose of antibiotics and we should be good to go for our vacation.
