Another Universal Night

C.J., who normally only works two days a week, has been working close to full time this summer.
*A side note*
I am so proud of him. He just hit his 5 year mark working at Universal Studios and, upon this special milestone, they award their employees with a certificate and a choice of a tablet, a camera, or a Rolex watch.  Pretty nice.
*Another side note*
I have an interview on Wednesday afternoon there.

Anyway, yesterday he had the day off so he came over and we watched a few Episodes of Dexter and then headed to Universal about 5:00.  Initially it looked as if rain was inevitable and we were all a bit disappointed but, thankfully, it never did.  (Well, it never rained at Universal...when Zack and I got home we could see there was a downpour here...only 15 minutes away from Universal).

We started the night in Islands of Adventure and went on the original Harry Potter ride. We first rode this a couple years ago at Christmas and waited 2 hours in line.  Last night's wait was 30 minutes- and was our longest wait of the night. After the ride we hopped the Hogwart's Express to Universal Studios.

We sneaked on Men in Black without a wait and then rain into JD working outside the Simpson's ride.  Never one to like his picture being taken, this is the best I could get.

There was not really any wait for ET either so we hopped on that and then, while we wanted to go on Transformers, there was still a 30 minute wait and we didn't have enough time to do that and see the fireworks show so, instead, we went over to Twister which simulates a category 5 tornado.

And finally, the evening show which was a combination of fireworks, a water show, and some screen entertainment celebrating 100 years of movies.  It was fantastic.

Before leaving we sat down and enjoyed a frozen yogurt.

It was another great night.
