As I was watching the pre-game practice I was very impressed with the Tigerton team. My first thought was there was no way that we could even stay competitive with them. Then, I discovered that they were undefeated, even in regional play! Things seemed hopeless.... but... nothing is impossibble with God!
Game one went on forever and Valley Christian finally emerged from the game with a 32-30 victory!
Game two went down to the wire too with Tigerton winning that one 26-24, even though Valley Christian had game point.
Game three we were able to take a little breather as Valley Christian took that one relatively easily with a score of 25-18.
Game four was another nail biter that went past the 25 point mark but Valley Christian was able to take that game as well at 28-26.
Unbeleiveable! Now, it is on to the sectional final for the first time in school history... tomorrow night against Florence.
