He is growing so much every day - and not just in stature. He is taking on so much more responsibility with chores and school and since our blow-up at Christmas he is learning how to navigate around barriers to reach a goal. He is staying the course in eating better and losing weight and just yesterday he came upon an unexpected road block and problem solved until he reached a solution and he did so without becoming agitated. This may not seem like a big deal but trust me...for him it is huge.
Yes, he is surely a soul who wears his emotion on his sleeve. You never have to guess how he is feeling....he shows it! He is very loyal and dedicated. He loves with his whole soul and being.
He is simply one of the best sons a mother could ask for....the other two would be C.J. and Jon. Biased much? Naw!
Yesterday we celebrated his birthday with a Buffalo Wild Wings dinner. It wasn't really that special since we go there every Friday night but he did get to pick out a free dessert and they brought it to our table with a big flashing red light to announce to everyone around us that he was having a birthday.
And I'm pretty sure this was his favorite birthday gift - ever! From his dad and brothers
