C.J. came home last week - the 16th to be exact. I picked him up from the airport in the morning, he came to school with me for the afternoon, and we stayed for the volleyball game at night(or some of it).
Friday I had school during the day but C.J. treated all of us to Tortilla Flats for dinner. He is so wonderful!!! I love having dinner with my boys because we always have such great conversations!
Sunday came around too quickly and I had to take C.J. back to the airport but I was glad it was an evening flight because that allowed us to watch the Packer game together.
I hate having to say goodbye to him and we both had moments of painful growth this weekend (tears) but I trust my Lord that this situation is serving a purpose. For now, I have to wait until the end of October to see him again.
Love you, C.J. Thanks for the weekend.

Visiting Up North (and One Naughty Dog)
The two boys and I (and the dog) went up north Saturday to visit my grandmother. This time we did not stay overnight because 1). my allergies are horrible right now and being up there makes them worse and 2). the dog beomes possessed is very naughty when we are there - look below. The pictures are so nice but just not the same without C.J.
So, Ollie goes into hunting mode as soon as we get out of the van. In my parent's house he stands on the sill by their window an basically looks for anything that moves! This time he even went as far as to use the chair in the extra bedroom to jump up on the dresser and look out the front window. If he ever did that at home - he'd have a one way ticket out the door!!!
He sure looks cute though - even when he is naughty.
